When you initially turn on and enrol your device you should see this screen:
This screen shows that your device has connected to the Knox security system and has been registered as a BIG device. If you don't see this screen when you setup your device this means you either didn't select a Wifi connection or your mobile data was turned off. There are a few solutions you can try:
Solution 1: Turn on Wifi
In order to connect to Knox you need internet connectivity. To turn on Wifi, scroll down the top of the screen and click the settings icon.
Next click on the Wifi connection tab and select the Wifi you want to connect to. You will now have Wifi and Knox should connect automatically.
Solution 2: Connect to Mobile Data
If you can't connect to a local Wifi, try connecting through mobile data. Your device should come with a SIM card installed in the device. Check the upper right corner of the screen and make sure you can see a little 4G symbol. If you don't see this symbol, then the SIM card is not working correctly and you will need to remove the SIM and then place it back in.
To find the location of the SIM, look on the outside of the device.
On older models, you should see a small section labeled 'SIM Card'. Just remove this section and remove the SIM by clicking the SIM in and then letting go. The SIM should now be able to be pulled out. Finally, put the SIM back into the device.
On newer devices there is a tiny panel with a small hole. You will need a small object to push into the hole to eject the panel. Then place the panel with the SIM back in to reset the SIM.
The device should now connect with mobile data to Knox and your applications should automatically install.
Solution 3: Factory Reset your device
If the above two solutions don't work, we recommend factory resetting your device. To do this, turn off your device. Then hold down the Home button, Volume Up button and the Lock button at the same time until the device turns on. You will be presented with a black screen with text. Use the volume buttons to move up and down through the text. Select Wipe data/ factory reset and use the Lock button to select the option. Select Yes. Finally, select the Reboot system now option and your device should reboot. Follow the setup instructions and make sure you select either a Wifi connection or you see the 4G icon in the top right of the screen.
