This document outlines step-by-step instructions for configuring the time zone settings in Microsoft Outlook.
Through Outlook Web:
Step 1: Open Microsoft Outlook in Your Web Browser
Open your preferred web browser and navigate to https://outlook.office.com/mail/ to access your Outlook email account.
Step 2: Access Settings
Once your mailbox has loaded, click on the Settings icon located in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Configure Calendar Time Zone
From the Settings menu, select Calendar, then click View, and adjust your Time Zone to the appropriate settings.
Step 4: Confirm Time Zone Update
If your Meeting Hours time zone is different from your regular timezone, a prompt will appear. Review the update to a different time zone and click Yes, update to apply the change.
Through Outlook Mac:
Step 1: Launch the Microsoft Outlook Application
Open the Outlook application on your device to begin the configuration process.
Step 2: Access the Top Menu
locate and click Outlook in the top menu bar to reveal the available options.
Step 3: Open Settings
From the dropdown menu, select Settings to access configuration options for your account and application.
Step 4: Navigate to Calendar
Within the Settings menu, click Calendar to view and manage calendar-specific settings.
Step 5: Configure Time Zone
Locate the Time Zone option within the Calendar settings and select the appropriate time zone for your account. Ensure any changes are saved if prompted.
