Multi–Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a requirement to access B!G applications. MFA provides an additional layer of security to protect B!G and your B!G account from unauthorised access. |
Use this guide to set up MFA by installing the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone and completing the MFA registration on your second device.
To Complete this task, you will need
- Your B!G email address (e.g., firstname.lastname@brandinfluencegroup.com) and the password provided to you.
- Your mobile phone or B!G iPad with internet access.
- A second device (such as another mobile phone, iPad, or computer) with internet access. While you can use your phone for both steps, having a second device will make the setup process easier.
- Approximately 5 minutes to complete the setup.
Instructions to setup up MFA
You only need to set up MFA once, using Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone and a web browser in your second device. After setup, do not delete/uninstall the app from your smartphone. You will need this app to verify your login when accessing big applications.
If you delete/uninstall the app from your smartphone, we will need to reset your account before you can follow these instructions again.
Note: When accessing BIG applications such as Outlook or B!G Vault, if you see an Action Required window (see image), it means Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) has not been set up for your B!G account yet. MFA is now required for accessing your Microsoft services.
